Brief
Venalum has resumed aluminum exports to the United States with a shipment of more than 15,000 tons. The cargo consists of high-purity aluminum ingots rated between 99.5% and 99.7%, a technical range suitable for demanding U.S. industrial customers. The dispatch reopens a commercial outlet for Venezuelan aluminum in the U.S. market. No information was provided on the buyer, shipment value, contract duration or schedule for subsequent cargoes.
The shipment shows that Venalum can place a sizable volume meeting U.S. industrial purity requirements. Repeated cargoes could indicate a durable reopening of an export channel and improved utilization of Venezuela’s aluminum assets; a one-off dispatch would provide much weaker evidence of recovery.

Watch for confirmation of a second U.S.-bound shipment, including its tonnage, buyer, realized price and delivery schedule. Recurring cargoes would distinguish a sustained export relationship from a single transaction.
